Rachael oversees marketing & communications initiatives and the advancement of QV’s responsible investing (RI) activities. She enjoys working closely with the investment and operations teams to ensure quality communications are delivered to QV’s stakeholders.

Rachael has overseen the advancement of QV’s RI activities since 2017. During this time, she has implemented firm-wide policies and overseen the development of our proprietary ESG scorecard. She also leads the firm’s proxy voting activities, working closely with each investment team on voting recommendations and collaborating with industry leaders. More broadly, she serves as a resource to the Investment Committee on RI topics and best practices.

Rachael has earned the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing and has completed courses through the PRI Academy, including Foundations in Responsible Investment and Advanced Responsible Investment Analysis. Prior to joining QV, Rachael worked as an investment analyst for an Edmonton-based firm.

Outside of work, Rachael enjoys being active with her daughter and husband. They have two cats and two retired sled dogs.
