Philong is responsible for trade execution across asset classes. He also produces detailed risk management characteristics for the investment team on a monthly basis.

He collaborates with members of the investment, operations and administration teams to support various functions. He also maintains relationships with sell-side brokers, counterparties, custodians and vendors.

Prior to starting at QV, Philong worked as a real-time energy trader at an Edmonton-based power generation firm.

Philong is a car enthusiast. He loves the ocean, playing hockey and traveling.
